Color and light

Lightning struck on Sunday afternoon.not the big thunderclap kind; but the early summer heat lightning kind.  You know it, the really humid evening has clouds with deep orange hues streaking across them."nobody knows how they're created,  they illuminate the horizon with brilliance, yet we don't know if their dangerous.  We only know that we're bring treateed to something really special, throw out all of your preconceptions, and let this light of unmeasured incandescence take you to places within yourself that you didn't even know you wanted to go .

What can I say.  She's my daughter, and this is a totally biased opinion.  But I am also a theater goer and I've never been so moved .
The recital at Provincetown Playhouse brought a theater to its knees, and  opened the waterworks of its audience
We all knew that she can sing but we didn't have a clue that sh can change into and inhabit multiple personalities as fast as you can say "Clark Kent in a phone booth (Nice anachronistic reference)

The grand themes  of Sunday in the Park with George in many ways parallels the themes that she has learned during her nyu career. Harmony is the one that sticks out the most.  In singing, harmony is obvious; but in any work the piece can only succeed when the finished project is greater than the sum of the parts.  So, too in life, George was unable to find harmony between his work and his love, and paid its price.

Hayley's future is a little more defined today, because the color and light that she uses to interpret and perform a song will also serve as a beacon so that others will be attracted to see it too!
